This is one of the best races in the country – excellent course, competition, and organization. Matt Carpenter takes care of every detail. It is also part of the La Sportiva Mountain Cup, so points will be scored toward the overall $25,000 in cash awards at the end of the season.

Best race in Colorado hands down. Premiums in the race, splits gathered, competition b/w the aide stations, results posted quickly, pizzas at the finish, massages at the finish … they do it all and it is super cheap when compared to all the other races – with all proceeds going back to the community. This should be race direction 101 for all race directors.
